I feel like you successfully captured something that does feel difficult to capture (and I’m sure still doesn’t do justice to your relationship). I liked it a little more because I feel like after seeing Nathan a couple times, I know a little about him and can see how all of this comes together. The thing that stuck out the most to me was how you said he doesn’t take your energy. I feel like that’s a very special person. Great piece!

You might have just showed me that “Love not attached to a why” might be the purest form of love.
A “why” gives it a condition. Which if the condition goes away, well then so too does the love. But without a why, it lasts forever.
