In terms of tips. Often overlooked but the benefits are incredible... For me, it's important to do things that give me energy and life. Places/activities that I can show up as I am. Having these items set in your calendar will help or else we'll naturally forget..
Dancing, playing/making music, journaling, meditating, praying, painting/drawing, walking, being in the sun/outside, grounding, call a friend, eating, and sleeping of course. These will fill up your cup and you'll have more energy to do other items. This has been the balance for me.
Hi Yehudis, I was wondering what happened to you. So happy your okay and happy to have you back. I tried playing violin many years ago. I was doing pretty good, slides, slurs, double stops, being able to read sheet music okay, mostly fiddle tunes. Once you can accurately play the notes with your left hand the fun begins with the bow… that’s where most of it happens. Unfortunately I could not get the hang of vibrato. Guitar was taking all my time and the fiddle was put away. You have started much younger then I did so you have good shot at getting good at it. I wish I had some pearls of wisdom to bestow to you but I think you know what you have to do as far as living your life. Great to have you back! XO Anthony
I don’t have good advice except maybe you’d consider setting aside a day or 2 where you take it real slow. Like doing things slow slow motion. Maybe then you can find the knots?
