My dear Yehudis. Thank you for doing this. Your words got me emotional and brought me back to those days when we decided to do this. For me, it's been one of the best decisions of the last years. Our group changed so much for me and provided the support I needed. I'm not talking (only) about writing, although we formed it with that in mind. As time went by, it's become a place of discussion, ideas, free thinking, and vulnerability. A secure place where we know we can be open and take risks and "put our hearts on the screen", as you beautifully wrote above. We made it to the first year, but I know we built something durable. Your description of the characters (cause that's what we are, are we not lol -- like in a comedy series that airs twice a week) is impeccable. I would expect no less from such a gentle, delicate, sharp observer like you. "I mean," Thank you! :)

I do miss our one on one conversations. I have thought on our past ones often as I put the finishing touches on my book. You have been so generous with your soul and I hope to continue that generosity as you have inspired me.

That was so much fun to get your behind-the-scenes take on writers I've been enjoying for the last year. I feel like I know all of them from a new perspective. It would have been fun to hear them reflect on their experience of you.
Yehudis you’re going to make me cry! You captured everyone so perfectly and yet we’d be missing a crucial part without you. You inspire me to be more fearless and embrace life’s possibilities. So happy to be in a writing group with you ❤️

I recently learned about "inverse charisma" and immediately thought of you. It's a phrase used to describe the magnetic quality of a great listener. "To speak with her was to be seduced by an inverse charisma, a sense of being listened to with such intensity that you have to be your most honest, sharpest, and best self."
Such warm feeling reading this, Yehudis. I could write a long essay extolling your virtues in response, but will focus on two for now. First, your curiosity is unlike anything I've seen. The way you ask such deep and well-formulated questions to the person or situation in front, with such genuine interest, has already taken you to amazing places and will take you even further.
The other is your determination to make things happen. Be it getting on a plane for us to spend a few hours together, to making the most witty campaigns to increase whatever metric is needed, and many more examples of a quality that makes you unstoppable.
All of us are very lucky to have you in our lives! Long live this group :)
